As our Senior AI and Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, build, and optimise the core systems that make this possible. This role blends deep hands‑on engineering with architectural ownership. You will work across video, audio, and text modalities, shaping model design while delivering production‑ready systems that scale. You will partner closely with our Lead Architect and engineering team to bring cutting‑edge research into real product experiences.
... the development of multimodal and video ML architectures, exploring transformers, vision encoders, and hybrid models to push the boundaries of content understanding. You will build and optimise models for highlight detection, ranking, and scoring, and you will design training pipelines and evaluation frameworks for large‑scale video datasets. Performance matters here. You will tune for latency, throughput, and GPU efficiency using quantisation, pruning, distillation, and ONNX or TensorRT.
Your work will move beyond experimentation into production. You will convert prototypes into robust services, collaborate with backend engineers to deploy models through scalable APIs and microservices, and monitor real‑world performance to design retraining loops that keep the system improving. As a technical leader, you will define best practices for experimentation, documentation, and reproducibility. You will mentor junior engineers and help shape Cliply’s long‑term AI roadmap.
You bring a strong foundation in deep learning, with five to ten years of experience in ML engineering or applied science, and hands‑on expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow. You have worked in areas such as video understanding, computer vision, speech or audio processing, natural language processing, or multimodal fusion. You understand how to make models efficient and reliable, and you write clean, maintainable Python with solid engineering fundamentals. It is a plus if you have experience with multimodal architectures, MLOps tools such as MLflow or Weights and Biases, or if you have contributed to open‑source ML projects. Startup experience is also valuable. At Cliply, your work does not sit on the sidelines. It becomes the product. You will help define how AI sees, understands, and transforms video for the next generation of creators.
As our Backend and Platform Engineer, you will design and build the services, APIs, and infrastructure that power the entire product. You will work closely with our AI, ML, and frontend teams to integrate models, support new features, and ensure that Cliply’s systems are fast, reliable, and ready to scale.
You will design and implement REST and gRPC APIs that handle content ingestion, processing, and retrieval. You will build microservices that orchestrate asynchronous workflows, queues, and background jobs. You will integrate with databases, object storage, and caching layers to ensure efficient data access across the platform. You will also implement authentication, authorisation, rate limiting, and usage tracking to keep the system secure and predictable.
Your work will extend into infrastructure and DevOps. You will design and manage cloud environments across development, staging, and production. You will build CI and CD pipelines for backend and ML components, including automated tests and deployments. You will set up and operate container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes to support microservices and model serving. Along the way, you will participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and performance tuning to keep the platform robust and maintainable.
You bring a strong foundation in backend or platform engineering, with four to seven years of experience building production systems. You are proficient in one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js with TypeScript. You have experience with microservice architectures, REST or gRPC APIs, and asynchronous processing. You are familiar with relational and NoSQL databases, message queues, and event‑driven systems. You have deployed services to major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and you understand scalability, reliability, and security best practices. It is a plus if you hold cloud certifications or have experience building high‑throughput, low‑latency systems. At Cliply, your work will sit at the heart of the platform. You will help build the foundation that allows our AI systems, product features, and creator tools to come alive.
As our Full‑Stack or Frontend Engineer, you will craft intuitive, responsive interfaces that make complex AI features feel simple and delightful. You will work across the stack, but your focus will be on frontend quality, performance, and user experience.
... using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular. You will design user flows for content upload, preview, management, analytics, and account settings, ensuring that every interaction feels seamless. You will integrate frontend components with backend APIs and authentication systems, and you will optimise performance for media‑heavy pages and dynamic dashboards. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to iterate on UX and visual design, implementing reusable components and maintaining design consistency across the platform. You bring a strong foundation in frontend or full‑stack development, with three to six years of experience building production‑grade web applications. You are fluent in JavaScript or TypeScript and comfortable working with a modern frontend framework, ideally React. You understand REST API integration, authentication, and client‑side routing. You have a good grasp of UX fundamentals, layout systems, and responsive design, and you are familiar with build tools and testing frameworks such as Webpack, Vite, or Jest. It is a plus if you have experience with design systems, Figma, or building media‑heavy interfaces. Exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js or Express is valuable. Bonus points if you have worked with video or interactive content and know how to make complex visuals load fast and look great. At Cliply, you will help shape the product experience that creators and enterprises see every day. You will turn AI intelligence into intuitive design, and you will build the web layer that connects technology with creativity.
At Cliply, you will help build the core AI engine that powers our next‑generation video intelligence platform. This is a hands‑on role where you will prototype, experiment, and work directly with real models, pipelines, and product features from day one. You will collaborate closely with our Senior AI Engineer and AI Architect, contributing to the systems that take Cliply from zero to one and shape how creators and enterprises understand video.
You will work across a wide range of AI components. You will prototype models in computer vision, large language models, and generative AI. You will integrate open source models such as CLIP, SAM, LLaMA, and diffusion models into our pipeline. You will build data preprocessing flows for images, frames, and metadata, and you will help design evaluation tools that measure quality, consistency, and relevance. You will also support backend development by wrapping models into simple APIs using FastAPI, and you will deploy experiments to cloud environments such as AWS or GCP. Throughout this work, you will keep your experiments clear, reproducible, and well documented, and you will collaborate closely with the team in weekly build cycles.
You bring strong Python skills and a solid foundation in deep learning. You have experience with computer vision or LLM projects from school, personal work, or internships, and you are familiar with PyTorch or TensorFlow. You have some exposure to cloud deployment and you approach problems with curiosity, fast learning, and a builder mindset. You communicate clearly and you take pride in clean documentation.
It is a plus if you have worked with architectures such as U Net or ResNet, or if you have experience with CLIP or segmentation models. Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or RAG pipelines is helpful. Experience with FastAPI, WebSockets, or Docker is valuable, and an interest in generative media, from diffusion to image‑to‑video, is a strong advantage. Design intuition in tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, or Blender is also welcome.
You will love this role if you want to be part of a founding AI team and learn directly from a senior engineer. You will work on real product features rather than side tasks, and you will see your work go directly into the prototype used for investors. Most importantly, you will grow into a full‑time AI Engineer with ownership as Cliply scales.
